Radian Military Discount - USA --()- Undoubtedly, the Radian Model 1 is a very impressive AR. You know what makes an AR great, when it comes down to it, is the feel it gives the shooter. This is when you use AR at its best; when you hit each target with ease due to its amazing accuracy; where everything feels right because the ergonomics are well placed and very well thought out; and when the recoil is very smooth it makes shooting very exciting and fun. When an AR does all those things, it makes you feel better about the weapon, and gives you confidence. Confidence in the weapon, and confidence in what you can achieve with that weapon. I will say that the Radian Model 1 is one of those ARs that inspires confidence.

What adds to that confidence is when you can do it right, and I have to say, that at least in my opinion, the Radian is a very good AR. It has a special fit and finish. Each part has been carefully considered so that form meets function. Details that many manufacturers ignore to make high numbers and drive profits, have been thoroughly researched and implemented by Radian. Small details such as the fact that all hard ends are chamfered, or ground to ensure that the gun does not have sharp edges, which could accidentally catch clothes or tools. The fact that each gun is fully assembled, tested, and cleaned for final delivery by the gunsmith, is not passed down the assembly line. All the main components are assembled at the same time to ensure that the colors match perfectly without any mismatch.

Let's take a look at some of the features that really set the Radian apart from many other ARs. One of the biggest details that sets the Radian apart is the ADAC, or Ambidextrous Dual Action Catch. It is fully ambidextrous with all controls on both sides for right and wrong shooters. On the right side of the receiver you have the magazine release in its normal position, another little feature I like is the large shield around the mag release, which prevents it from being accidentally pushed. Above and behind that you will have a bolt release button, which will allow you to release the bolt with your trigger finger. I'm a big fan of this and think all ARs should have this feature. It always feels more natural to press the bolt release with my trigger finger instead of your thumb when loading the magazine. But if you're not a fan, don't worry, all the usual controls are still there.

Speaking of bolt release, the left side of the receiver is in its normal position. The Radian is nice and big and extended to the rear so that left-handed shooters can hit the bolt release with their trigger finger. The open bolt hold lever is also large and there is a magazine release on the left side of the receiver.

Another unique feature on the lower Radian is that if you are a right-handed shooter, you can depress the magazine release and retract the charging handle to hold the bolt to the rear. This is a very unique feature that will allow you to eliminate double feeds and other inefficiencies while maintaining a strong, accurate firing position on the gun. This is a great feature, but it will take some practice to get used to it. However, once you do it, it will work much better than the traditional method of removing double feeds. On the bottom of course, it has Radian Talon safety selectors and you can decide if you want the selectors to be at 45 degree or 90 degree travel. These are probably the best security picks being made today. The trigger is an American Trigger Company AR Gold match bullet. They are great traps, very clear and light; this one is about two and a half pounds.. My only minor complaint about the AR gold is that I wish the reset was more prominent, but not a big deal.

Let's start the discussion above with what is probably the most popular charging handle made today, the Radian Raptor. These are amazing charging handles and a great upgrade for any AR15. They even make it branded for other companies like the Q I have on my Honey Badger. This particular Raptor is an SD model, optimized for compression use. It has a ported shaft that pushes the upper gases from the compressor down, and forward away from your face. I will say that it's not as tight as other 10.5 inch ARs I've shot, so it seems to work. I'd like to try one of these charging handles with a 16 inch gun to get clear results, but it sure looks like there's merit in the design and I might need some of them.

The top is 7075 T-6 billet aluminum like the bottom, and it's well made. I like the way they attach the handguard to the receiver, the handguard and the mounting system on the gun is very strong and sturdy. The handguard itself has MLOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, with a full picture rail at the top. You can choose between a Silencerco, or a Dead Air muzzle device to lift the barrel. That's definitely a trick question, Dead Air is the right answer. The barrel is a match grade 416R stainless steel barrel with a polished crown and feed ramps. Radian prides itself on this barrel as it guarantees Sub MOA Accuracy with match black hill bullets. Which is a pretty good claim if you've shot a lot of ARs, and I'm pretty sure the mil spec is 5 inches at 100 yards, making the Radian 5 times better than the mil spec.

Radian One Unveils Plans For Single Stage To Orbit Spaceplane

The Radian Model 1 is available in a variety of barrel lengths and calibers. We have a 10.5 inch barrel chambered in 223 wylde. All of their 556 guns are chambered in 223 Wylde, so if you've come across a few, the Radian is more than capable of handling it. Now I'm not sure if that accuracy guarantee is up to 10.5, and we're testing it with ammo shortages in 2020. So it is very difficult to find recommended ammo for Radian or match ammo. I will say that with normal ball ammo we usually shoot 1.5 - 2 inch groups so I feel given all the right ammo it would easily be a 1 inch gun. What makes me believe in the Radian's accuracy even more is the distance we were able to shoot this gun with only a 10.5 inch barrel. 200, 300, and 400 yards is very easy with truly impressive accuracy. What really bothered me, was that even with this 10.5 inch barrel, we were getting regular good hits at 500 and even 700 yards. I didn't think that would happen given the length of the barrel, and being able to reproduce images like this with the Radian gives me a lot of confidence in this system and its capabilities. I've been lucky enough to shoot some very accurate ARs over the years and the Radian tops the list as one of the most accurate ARs I've ever shot.

Radian performs very well in all aspects and it is almost impossible to find anything bad to say about it. However, if I have to say one thing, it is very difficult. This 10.5 inch weighs six pounds six and a half ounces. Now it's not bad, but you're more careful as you start reaching for it more. I will say that most of the most accurate ARs I shoot are very heavy. It's hardly a deal breaker, but if I had to complain about anything in this stellar package, it's the weight. Don't worry, it's not too difficult in HK.

Radian Mod 1 delivers in every way you want; it's accurate, reliable, the controls are great, it shoots great, and the design is up there with the best available. Of course, premium-level performance comes with a premium-level price, making the Radian mod 1 may not be the right AR for everyone. At the time this video was compiled, the retail price was over $2500. However, I really feel though the price
